WiFi router because the previous one I had wasn't working properly at all. In few minutes I was able to reconfigure this one, with the same settings I had before and all my home appliances worked flawlessly. I have no issues in streaming from my iPad/iPhone to my AppleTV and also can stream from my PC to the PS3 using a media server (all these things were kind of stuttering with the previous router). I didn't use any advanced feature of this model, but for the everyday user, I can definitely say it's a great buy.

Try as I might I just could not do it and have no advise for folks with only Macs...I'm sure it can be done but I couldn't figure it out and Tech Support was closed on Mondays. **** MY SOLUTION**** was to spark up an older windows 7 computer and presto the change was simple. I am very impressed with this Router and the price was great. Works with iPhone 5, iPad and Mac

fair amount of research before purchasing a router, and this router was the best one for this price, 802.11n capable, 300Mbps, so I don't think you can easily find that for this price. You can either spend a lot more money to get a different router with these same specs, or you can spend a little bit less to get a cheapo router that would most likely disappoint (if you do anything more than check your email).

The Medialink wireless router works exactly as advertised. It was extremely easy to install and set up and has operated flawlessly.

My biggest issue with the router is parental controls are pretty much non-existent and are not easy to implement unless you're willing to assign devices static ip addresses bases on mac addresses and then create time or url based rules. So, I would say if you want a router with easy to implement parental controls such as url filtering that can be turned on and off from the device, or time limits that can be overridden from the device, then look elsewhere. Otherwise it's a pretty decent router!

So far it has worked flawlessly with no dropped connections with my wireless devices I would purchase again.giving this product 5 stars

I've been using this router for about a month and found it easy to set up and reliable. It's a second router in our system, and has greatly improved signal quality and speed in the front of our house (the other router is in the back).
